Delivery and Returns

1.    Delivery Overview

We aim to deliver your Sportbaby goods as quickly and securely as possible, whilst keeping costs low. All packages are sent via Evri Standard delivery. 

2.    Delivery Times

We aim to despatch your item within one working day of your order being placed (Monday - Friday). From despatch, the estimated standard delivery times (as per Evri's delivery schedule) are as follows, although these can be extended during busy periods (eg. Black Friday/Christmas):

    • Evri Standard - 3 - 5 working days
    • Evri Express Delivery - 1 - 2 working days
    • Royal Mail - Next Day SD1 - Next working day (doesn't guarantee a Saturday delivery)

Please note that Evri does not normally deliver on Sundays or Bank Holidays. 

Orders must be placed by 1pm Monday - Friday to guarantee we have enough time to process the order and despatch it to you that day.

3.     Shipping Costs

  • Evri Standard shipping - £2.00 (FREE Over £50)
  • Evri Express delivery - next working day delivery aim (order by 1pm Mon - Fri)  - £4.95
  • Royal Mail - Next Day SD1 - £8.99 - next working day delivery (order by 1pm Mon - Fri, this service doesn't guarantee a Saturday delivery if despatched on Friday) 

International Delivery

Our international delivery costs are based on a maximum weight of 1kg. This will be sufficient to cover most typical orders of 3-4 items. However, should the weight of the package exceed 1kg then we reserve the right to increase the delivery charge accordingly.  In the event that this occurs we will contact you prior to despatching the item.  The maximum weight we can send via Royal Mail is 2kg.

Our international orders are despatched on a duty unpaid basis. Unless otherwise stated, all items are shipped from the United Kingdom and may incur duty & other charges upon entering other countries. Any duty, clearance, tax or carrier charges must be borne by the recipient and we will not accept liability for any such costs. Please check with the relevant authorities of the country in question before placing an order.

Print-on-Demand (Made to Order) Policy

Made to order products are created using a print-on-demand model. This means that items are produced individually upon receipt of an order, rather than being pre-manufactured and stored. As a result, we do not hold physical stock of these products.

This production method enables us to:

  • Offer a wider selection of unique and customisable designs

  • Promote more sustainable and environmentally conscious practices

  • Minimise overproduction and reduce material waste

Orders are fulfilled and dispatched by our third-party production partner, Printify, who utilises high-quality materials and professional print techniques (including DTF and DTG printing) to ensure a durable and vibrant finish.

Please note:
Due to the made-to-order nature of our products, additional processing time is required before dispatch. Production typically begins within 1–3 working days of order placement and may take up to 7 working days during peak periods. Delivery estimates are provided separately and may vary based on location. Express delivery is not available on any of print on demand products.

By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and accept these production timelines as part of our fulfilment process.

4.     Returns

This policy is offered in addition to your legal rights.

4.1   Cooling off period

You have the right to return the product (in it's original state with all tags attached) within 14 days from receipt of your order and receive a full refund for the item/s being returned. Please note, Express / Next day postage options are not refundable. 

4.2   Cancellation

If you have placed an order but then wish to change or cancel it, please contact us via email info@sportbaby.co.uk or by phone 0114 3216114 as soon as possible quoting your order number. Providing the order has not already been despatched we will make any changes requested. However, if the order has already been processed this will not be possible, in this instance please follow the normal returns procedure.

4.3   Unwanted Products - Refund or Exchange

If you change your mind about your purchase, please return the unused goods to us with the original packaging and all tags attached within 30 days and we will offer you an exchange or a refund. Please pop the original despatch note in and advise us what you wish to do and the reason for return. 

4.4   Sale Items

Sale items should be returned within 7 days of receipt. This does not affect your usual consumer rights, including your right to claim a refund, replacement, repair or compensation where the goods are faulty.

4.5  Faulty/Not as Described Items

Every item we sell is inspected before it is shipped, however occasionaly manufacturing defects may exist or items may be damaged in transit. If on receipt the merchandise is defective or damaged please contact us immediately at info@sportbaby.co.uk. Should an item need to be returned as it is faulty or defective then we will reimburse your return postage costs.

4.6   How to Return an Item

Log in to your account:

    1.1 In the Email field, enter your email address, and then click Continue.

    2.1 In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.

    3.1 Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.

Click the order that you want to submit the return for.

If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.

Select a return reason and add a note for the store.

Click Request return.

The item is your responsibility until it reaches us so for your own protection we strongly recommend that you send the parcel using a recorded/tracked delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. We cannot refund return items that have become lost in the post.  Unfortunately we will not be able to refund any postage costs incurred by the customer when returning items to us.
